We're barreling towards the end of the season and there are a lot of exciting synchro moments in the next two months! We want to make the end of this year and the beginning of our next season as successful as possible for our athletes. Please make note of the following dates and events and as always, please reach out to your squad's parent rep for questions or a member of the coaching staff. GO, CBAC!
During the pop-up swimsuit sale earlier this month, there were many parents interested in ordering hoodies, warm-up jackets, etc. With the cooler temps, many swimmers regret not asking to order some of our warmer team gear-- definitely not something we look for in August! Our amazing apparel team has opened another apparel order that will remain open until Sunday, March 3 The Synchro Travel Jackets & Vest Tops are a separate order that will be coming soon. **Please direct any questions to [email protected]

Thanks to everyone that was able to attend tonight's meeting in person! With the pool deck so busy and balancing packed schedules, it's nice when we can connect outside of the pool and spend time together. Plus, synchro parents are a blast! Kicking off 2024, we are officially at the beginning of the Competition Phase of the season. To help everyone stay on the right track, here are a few reminders from the coaches & athletes: TRAINING ATTENDANCE If your swimmer is not able to attend practice, please please please discuss with your squad's coach so that they can make adjustments to training plans. While missing a training session might not seem like a big deal, here are some quotes we've overheard athletes say: "I don't know my pattern spot when people are missing" "We can't work on lifts when people are gone. I love lifts!" "My duet partner isn't here... what do I work on?" "Synchro is more fun when our whole team is here" Of course, we understand there are excused absences. If a swimmer is too sick to go to school, they're probably too sick to be at training. If a swimmer has a fever or is vomiting, they are definitely too sick to be at training. If there's a family emergency, please let us know how we can help! Procrastination (last-minute studying) and social events are not considered excused absences and yes, you can go straight from the pool to a band concert with wet hair. Maybe even with knox gelatin on your head 😅 Youth Sports teach prioritization, time management and planning-- have to stay focused to get all of the fun in! :) If your swimmer is having trouble balancing, reach out to your coach! We're here to help them figure out a balance so that they can be their best. POOL DECK SPACE It's pretty exciting to see such a busy pool deck! With our swim team doing dryland, synchro swimmers learning choreography and everything in-between, there's not a lot of space for spectators. While we parents to be able to observe the progress in the pool from a front row seat, please be aware that side conversation and interaction with the Coaches and/or athletes is a hindrance to valuable practice time. We all want the swimmers to succeed, and maximizing pool/practice time is critical to the growth of the athletes. Interested in helping? Love it! During practices where Junior Coaches are not present, having parents/supporters film on the ipad or running music is super helpful. Reach out to your swimmer's coach before training to see if they'd like the extra support. TEAM SUITS Each season, swimmers will be invoiced for the use of a new suit ordered specifically to fit their routine. Exciting! After the athlete's final event of the season, the swimsuit goes back into the suit library to be used for future routines by the athletes. As a swimmer advances in the sport, they will have multiple routines each season and rather than paying for multiple suits, they have a gorgeous library full of sparkles to choose from. So cool! Age Group Routine Suits: ~$150 USD per suit Intermediate & Novice Routine Suits: ~$100 USD per suit Age Group swimmers that would like to purchase suits for small routines may do so after speaking with their coach.
