Synchro Update: Sept 22, 2023

We are in week #3 of the season and off to a great start!

Athletes have been going back to the basics, building strength, increasing conditioning and getting back into the swing of a new school year.
We've officially started to integrate choreography into each training session which means that attendance is crucial to swimmers feeling successful.

If your swimmer is unable to attend a training session, please send a message to their coach prior to training time. As a reminder, please schedule all appointments outside of training time - we want to maximize our time together!

Midterm Break Synchro Camp

STAR Testing

The STAR Program was created by Canada Artistic Swimming as a skill progression certificate program to build a strong foundation in young synchro swimmers. Students perform a specific set of skills in front of judges who will then award certificates once the skills have been demonstrated at a passing standard.

Like many Caribbean programs, Cayman has adopted the STAR Program and have adapted it as the sport has progressed.
Utilizing STAR Testing ensures that all swimmers have a strong foundation in skills that will be expanded on throughout their time in the sport. This also allows coaches to determine areas where swimmers are strongest or might need extra attention.
*Swimmers must wear black suit & white cap

Pirates Fest Performance 2023

Come down to the George Town waterfront on Saturday, November 11th to cheer on some of our team members as they perform for the annual Pirate's Week Festival

All CBAC swimmers receive a team shirt and swim cap with their registration fees.

Gym Equipment Wanted!
Our team is on the hunt for some used exercise equipment. If you have any kettlebells, dumbbells, bosu, jump ropes or other equipment, please contact Coach Romina

Suit Libary
If you have used swimsuits that no longer fit your athlete, please bring to the pool and we will add it to the suit library

CIASA News

Cayman Islands Aquatic Sports Association organizes events for all aquatic athletes in Cayman as well as coordinates national team events in partnership with World Aquatics, Panam Aquatics and The Cayman Islands Olympic Committee

All CBAC members have CIASA membership included in their annual registration fee
