Our History
Founded in 2010, Camana Bay Aquatic Club (CBAC) provides top quality aquatic coaching in an excellent club and team atmosphere for athletes of all ages and abilities. Affiliated with the Cayman Islands Aquatic Sports Association (CIASA), CBAC makes its home in Camana Bay, Grand Cayman and offers a variety of aquatic related activities to its 200+ members year-round.
We have swimmers who experience their first structured introduction to the water, to performance athletes in various disciplines who represent their country Internationally, and everything else in between.
In 2018, the team expanded to include Caymanite Artistic Swimming, the first competitive synchro program of its kind in the country. Under the direction of Head Coach Romina Giraldo, the discipline has continued to grow in strength and numbers, with athletes competing at CARIFTA, performing at corporate events, as well as in the US & Canada.
Over the last decade, the team has established itself as a leading provider of development and performance swim programs in the Cayman Islands at all levels. We focus on building resilience and fostering commitment, drive and passion for success while supporting the holistic growth of our athletes both in and out of the pool.

Mission & Vision
Mission
Our mission is to shape champions in the pool and in life, as we pursue our bold vision: to be the most successful aquatic program in the Caribbean. Success, although defined differently and specifically for each level of the CBAC program, is united by a plan for progression as we operate as one CBAC family. Whether you’re diving in for the first time with our Hatchlings, or returning as a driven Leatherback chasing international podiums, utilizing coaches and teachers who are dedicated to the success of each individual, through programming tailored to every age, ability and ambition.
