SWIM TEAM FAQS
Training Groups
Q: How do I know what training group my swimmer will be in?
A: When your child first wants to join CBAC, they will be asked to a quick assessment with one of our coaches. From that assessment, we will be able to assign them to a training group that matches their skill and ability level, their age, and, - in the case of our 12/Overs - their goals. You will then receive notification of the designated training group and get started with the next training session.

Q: What do the different training group names mean?
A: CBAC's Swim Team mascot has always been a turtle, so our training groups are named after Turtles!
Stroke School Hatchlings represent the early life cycle of a turtle; Junior Turtles are those who have grown and started to develop further; and our Green, Hawksbill and Loggerhead Turtles are named after the 3 species commonly found in Cayman waters and spotted regularly during open water swims.
