Hi Everyone! 

First off, a HUGE congrats to all of the athletes that participated in The 2021 Caymanite Invite-- we are so proud of you! 
This is the third year of hosting the Caymanite Invite and the first competition for most of our team. 
Each year we learn more, build confidence and create plans to make the next one "bigger and better".


Second, massive "thanks" to everyone who made the event possible: 

• Our awesome judges who continue to invest countless hours to train and learn judging! 
  Mary-Ellen, Donna, Lee, Jen, Nicole, Sarah, Abbie, Maeve, Coach Romina -- you guys rock! 
• Our scoring chair extraordinaire, Karen, and her assistant Ajoni 
• Figures helpers Katie, Amber, Charlene, Erin, Bob
• Swimmer marshalls Gill, Susannah & Victoria
• Set-Up and Take-Down crew led by Kevin, Mike, Paul & Dave (and everyone who pitched in at the end!)
• Teal Team swimmers for helping with suit distribution & costume needs
• And everyone who cheered, encouraged and supported-- these athletes are all so lucky!

Next up, OUR ANNUAL SUMMER SHOW!

We know that several families had their summer plans changed by the recent British Airways flight changes.
Please confirm your swimmers' attendance (yes or no) for the summer show and rehearsal: Click HERE to fill out the form

• MANDATORY DRESS REHEARSAL-- JUNE 13TH
  Swimmers must attend the rehearsal on Sunday, June 13th @ 3:00pm-5:00pm
  We will be rehearsing the Finale Routine-- participation in the finale is dependent on attendance at the rehearsal.
  
  
• COSTUME SUITS-- RETURN ON JUNE 20TH
  Please hold on to your costumes and Bun Caps until the June 20th show.
  After the show, suits will be returned (on a hanger) before swimmers leave the pool for the evening. 
  A few groups will need to do re-sizing (kids are growing like weeds!) and should bring their suits back to the pool ASAP: 
  Sapphire, Turquoise, Silver

We will open up for new swimmer Intro courses in August this summer-- if you know of a swimmer that has been dying to join, please feel free to pass on contact info and more info will be available in the coming weeks. 

Darkness to Light Training
Darkness to Light training is being offered for a limited time through CIASA (CI Aquatic Sports Association) -- please take advantage of this opportunity!

Darkness to Light is currently offering their 'Stewards of Children' online training for free for a limited time only. This training helps adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. 
Our federation is committed to the DCFS campaign to educate our volunteers, officials and staff and we would ask that you register for this training, complete it and have your certificate as proof of training.
